Heartbreaking surgery update for superstar No. 1 Baxter.

The standout fullback for the Sydney Roosters, Corban Baxter, has an ACL injury, and scans have confirmed this, ending his NRLW career before the first round. On Monday night, Baxter received the heartbreaking news after suffering an injury during a tackle during the Roosters’ preseason game against Cronulla.

 

 

 

The 30-year-old will not participate in the Roosters’ NRLW campaign, which kicks off against Newcastle on Friday night, because to the injury. Baxter, who had only recently played for the Blues in her first State of Origin series in four years, had joined the Roosters just six months after giving birth. The Roosters suffered a double blow when outside back Brydie Parker broke his forearm in the game against the Sharks, adding to an already dire situation.
