John Rhys Plumlee might not be one of the most highly touted quarterback prospects
in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he’s not lacking confidence. The former UCF and Ole Miss star joined The Paul Finebaum Show on Wednesday and declared that he believes he is one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.
Of course, there are 32 NFL teams so Plumlee is simply saying he thinks he has what it takes to be a starter at the next level.
“Right now, it’s day by day, preparing adequately for the future,” he said. “Hopeful to get an opportunity, but like you said, I think that I can do a lot of things. I
think I can be a weapon in many different ways. But I also think that if you asked me I’m one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world, and I think yeah, given the opportunity, I think that I am and I will be.”
