Just in now he has moved to Man City Dani Olmo on Tuesday in order to get him ready for the Euro 2024 championship.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Olmo’s €60 million release clause expires on Tuesday, and City intends to sign him. The Premier League winners, Spain, will reportedly activate his clause after the tournament. Spain will play England in the Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.

 

 

 

Olmo might start in Kevin De Bruyne’s place at the Etihad Stadium. The Belgium international has been strongly connected to a move to Saudi Arabia, and City is reportedly prepared to permit the deal to go place in exchange for a payment of £50 million ($64 million).

 

 

 

 

 

De Bruyne endured an injury-hit campaign in 2023/24 and was limited to just 26 appearances in all competitions. Nevertheless, he provided 24 goal involvements. Olmo, by comparison, scored eight goals and registered five assists in 25 games for RB Leipzig. He has also scored three goals and laid on two assists in five games at Euro 2024

 

 

 

 

City must move swiftly as Olmo’s release clause expires soon. If they fail to trigger it, there is the prospect that Leipzig can hold out for a greater amount.
