Congratulations: Cowboys has finally sign the highest paid NFL player….

There are a few roster gaps for the Dallas Cowboys to fill as the 2024 NFL Draft draws near. They have been more passive in free agency than ever before, and if something goes wrong, they seem prepared to point the finger at Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott.

McCarthy is a lame duck while Prescott might get a big payoff as they both approach the last year of their current contracts. Dallas might let him go free, so if they already think his salary demands are out of line, wait till a few desperate teams start to support the Brinks truck.

Hopefully, that won’t be the case. However, winning in 2024 will be the greatest way to prevent the sky from falling, and it will be essential to that goal to choose every pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. We aim to do precisely that in this seven-round mock draft of the Cowboys.

Pick 24 in Round 1: Oregon’s Jackson Powers-Johnson, C
The Cowboys select Oregon’s Jackson Powers-Johnson, the best center in this class, with their first pick. At 6-foot-3 and 320 pounds, Powers-Johnson is NFL-sized and has linebacker experience. But his 2023 work at the center demonstrated that’s where he belongs.
